Data Protection and Privacy Notice

About the information we collect and hold

Part A (see below) summarises the information we collect and hold about nanny candidates, how and why we do so, how we use it and with whom it may be shared. Part B (see below) summarises the additional information we collect and hold about parents/clients, how and why we do so, how we use it and with whom it may be shared. We will notify you of any changes to information we collect or to the purposes for which we collect and process it. Should you, either as a Client or as a Candidate, request the removal of your information, you must do so via email request to Director Sarah Gooding. Should you wish to register for services again you will be required to complete registration documents again, thereby providing personal data to ensure the Company is able to efficiently service their needs.

Monitoring and recording communications

We may monitor and record telephone conversations and emails for the purpose of quality assurance, training, and compliance.

Use of cookies

Cookies are small files, which are stored on a user’s computer. They are designed to hold data specific to a particular client and/or website and can be accessed either by the web server or the client computer. We use them on our website to help us build a more accurate profile of our users, in order to provide a more useful and relevant service to both Candidate and Clients alike. Marketing

We would like to send you information, which we think will be of interest to you. Marketing messages, however, will only be sent to you if you tick the relevant boxes when completing our online enquiry form for the first time. If you have consented to such receive marketing, you can opt out at any time.

Correcting and accessing your information

Please contact enquiries@sarahg1.sg-host.com if you would like to correct or request access to information that we hold relating to you or if you have any questions. You also have the right to ask us for some, but not all, of the information we hold and process to be erased (the ‘right to be forgotten’) in certain circumstances. We will provide you with further information about the right to be forgotten, if you ask for it.

We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost, or used or accessed in an unauthorised way. We limit access to your personal information to those who have a genuine business need to know it. Those processing your information will do so only in an authorised manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

ABOUT THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOLD

Part A: Candidates

The information we collect from you may include some, if not all, of the following: i)                 Your name, address, home and mobile phone number and email address. ii)               Your qualifications, experience and employment history. iii)              Your nationality, immigration status and related information, such as passport or immigration documents. iv)             Details of tests and assessments undertaken on courses such as Paediatric First Aid. v)               Job preference and salary expectations. vi)             Information regarding your criminal record. vii)            Details of your referees. Information is collected for legitimate interest: to progress your application, arrange interviews and keep you informed; to carry out a fair recruitment process to make an informed decision regarding matching you with appropriate vacancies, which may be of interest to you; to maintain employment records; to ensure that you hold the requisite qualifications for certain vacancies that may be available; to assist you in proving you have passed such assessments should an employer request, such as First Aid (NB the FAIB and OCN require we do this); to ensure that we contact you only in relation to positions which may be of interest to you; to comply with our legal obligations and for reasons of public interest (equality of opportunity or treatment); to make an informed recruitment decision; to carry out statutory checks; to ensure that information is shared with DBS and other regulatory authorities as required; to carry out a fair recruitment process and to comply with our legal obligations to obtain regulatory references. We also collect information from you to comply with our legal obligations and for reasons of substantial public interest, such as preventing or detecting unlawful acts, any suspicion of terrorist financing or money laundering and protecting the public against dishonesty.

Part B: Clients

The information we collect from you may include some, if not all, of the following: i)                 Your name, address, home and mobile phone number and email address. ii)               A description of the services you require. iii)              Information about your family, your children, the role that you are looking to fill. Information is collected for legitimate interest: to arrange interviews with candidates who may be suited to your job requirements; to enable us to match suitable candidates and provide the services required; to to meet our own obligations to HMRC and other regulatory bodies.
